Moog Matriarch Dark Ambient Drone Synth Jam [Jamuary 2020, Day 1]

MKDVB – Pompeii
Jamuary 2020 day 1
Moog Matriarch, Elektron Analog Heat, Eventide Eclipse. Bring in Matriarch delay, then Eventide Eclipse reverb (ShiftedVerb2). Turning up Matriarch onboard RingMod & Analog Heat distortion. Adjusting RingMod ratio in the attenuator [input=square, att=saw] Time for the sonic lava to flow! Let’s speed up the LFO rate into audio frequency. Upping LFO>cutoff amt for FILTER FM craziness & changing LFO shape to random. Started with Resonance1 high & Resonance2 low but I reverse them during the jam. Delay glitchiness by turning sync on & off. Dialing back the distortion & switching to a mellower preset. Slow rolling resonances are coming from Analog Heat filter, not the Matriarch! More random delay glitchiness. I kinda didn’t want it at this moment. Dialing back the Filter FM & RingMod. Gonna let the sonic dust settle now into a blissed out space. This ambient space is my favorite part so I’m just gonna let it run for a bit. Delay just keeps randomly glitching. Not sure why, think it may have to do with longer tapped delay tempos combined with patched-in delay sync
